DVD Releases for December 20, 2011

Time to take a look at a selection of DVD releases for Tuesday December 20, 2011! Time to take a look at the last set of films being release before the Holidays!

• Warrior (DVD Review) A family-centred fighting film starring Joel Edgerton & Tom Hardy as brothers who enter the same MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) competition, also stars Nick Nolte as their father.
• Dolphin Tale This one feels like a great family holiday pick, based on a true story about the quest to help a tail-less dolphin re-find their. The trailer made me cry every, single, time.
• Saint / Sint (DVD Review) An alternate Christmas pick with a darker take on 'Saint Nick' as an evil and blood thirsty characters, and also as the one has a supernatural spin I had to check it out.
• Columbiana I really want to see this Zoe Saldana action flick, even though it's high on the vengeance side of things it still looks awesome.
• Senna (BluRay) This documentary is literally one of the highestly acclaimed films of the year. It's received across the board love from *everyone* (nor currently available on Amazon.com).
• Glee: The Concert Movie I really wish I had kept up with this misfit singing high school set TV show (stopped watching season 2...sigh), and in between season this summer they came out with this concert release film now on DVD.
• Underworld: 3 Film Pack (BluRay) Great timing with this releases if you are looking to catch up or revisit this action packed vampires vs lycans (werewolves) series starring Kate Beckinsdale, Michael Sheen & Bill Nighy. BluRay 3-Pack includes Underworld, Underworld Evolution and the prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. I can't wait for the 4th film Underworld Awakening comes out on January 20, 2012.
• Margin Call I've heard pretty amazing things about Margin Call but this Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore & Kevin Spacey bank thriller totally missed my radar.
• One Tree Hill Season 8 If TV is more your thing there is the 8th season of this high school set show out on DVD. Wow, I remember when it just started!
• The Conquest / La Conquete This biopic examines the life and rise to power of Nicolas Sarkozy.(not currently available on Amazon.com)
• Straw Dogs (DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital) Remake of the 70's film with the same name about a girl who goes back to where she grew up with new husband in tow and all hell breaks loose; Release includes feature commentary with writer/director Ron Lurie and 4 featurettes.
• Midnight in Paris The lastest from Woody Allen seems to have charmed almost everyone, stars Starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and Kurt Fuller. DVD release includes : Cannes Featurette, Blu-Ray also has cast & crew photo gallery.
